Growing up in a small, close-knit village, I experienced firsthand the struggles families endure to provide their children with basic education. My parents, despite their limited resources, worked tirelessly to ensure I had access to quality education. They believed that education was the key to a brighter future—not just for me, but for our entire community.

After completing my Integrated BTech in Computer Science and MBA in HR and Marketing from Lovely Professional University, I began my corporate journey with L&T Mutual Fund (now acquired by HSBC Mutual Fund) as a Relationship Manager. Over 13 months, I helped clients manage investments and build strong financial foundations. My career was on an upward trajectory, but life had other plans.

Fueled by my parents’ unwavering belief in the power of education, I was determined to excel academically. I achieved 85% in my 10th grade, 90% in my 12th grade, and earned a first-division in my postgraduate studies. My academic journey was never just about personal success; it was about setting an example for the children in my community, proving that education can break barriers and change lives.

In October 2019, my father’s health deteriorated due to liver cirrhosis. Doctors recommended a liver transplant, and we gathered Rs. 30,00,000 to proceed with the surgery in early 2020. I was admitted as a liver donor, prepared to do whatever it took to save him. Tragically, on February 24, 2020, amidst the uncertainty of the looming pandemic, my father passed away, leaving us heartbroken and financially strained.

His passing not only left an emotional void but also placed a tremendous financial burden on our family. Our businesses—including schools, a hardware shop, and a civil construction site—suffered severely due to the pandemic. With medical expenses totaling more than Rs. 70,00,000, we were forced to shut down our civil construction site. whose revival is in process.

Despite these setbacks, I refused to let adversity define my journey. With unwavering determination, I rebuilt what was lost. Our schools continued to grow, providing education to thousands of children. We restructured our businesses, adapted to the changing times, and emerged stronger than before. Today, our institutions stand as a testament to perseverance, innovation, and an unbreakable spirit.

With my father gone, the responsibility of managing our schools and family businesses fell on my shoulders. Our schools have always been more than just educational institutions—they are beacons of hope for children in our community. Despite the challenges, I remain committed to ensuring that our schools continue to provide quality education and empower future generations.

Today, I take on the responsibility of supporting my mother, my younger brother (who assists in our business operations), and my younger sister (currently pursuing her MBA). Their future, our schools, and our community’s children depend on my dedication. This journey is not just about sustaining a business—it’s about upholding a legacy of education, resilience, and transformation.

Through all the challenges, I have continued to learn, grow, and push forward. Every obstacle has only strengthened my resolve to create a lasting impact. I am not just surviving—I am thriving. And this is only the beginning of a greater journey.
